TVC Solid Rocket

Soon after the carbon fiber rocket, I began a TVC (thrust vector controlled) model rocket. This challenge pushed me further by combining CAD design, electronics integration, and extensive software application. After countless hours of research and failed prototypes, I developed a functional TVC gimbal that would provide corrections based on gyroscope and accelerometer data. This worked well in ground testing, even though it never flew, it was a solid learning experience. The controller was simply an Arduino Micro with an accelerometer and gyroscope unit wired into it, controlling some servos on the custom gimbal mount.
